Through Jack Straw’s regular neighbourhood meetings and town centre shoutabouts we try to engage with as many residents and communities as possible.
In addition, you can use this site as a direct link to let us know your ideas and opinions on the issues facing us here in Blackburn, and the Country.
We maintain a blog, on which you can comment, or you can join the discussion here. Why not take a look at our where you live section, where you can engage with the issues facing your local community, and get in touch with your local Labour team.
If you are resident in Blackburn you can register to vote by filling in this form and return it to the electoral registration officer, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, Town Hall, Blackburn, BB1 7DY. If you are already registered but would prefer to vote by post or proxy just complete this form and return to Blackburn Town Hall as above.
At election time many people – people who aren’t members, who don’t neccesarily want to be a member of a political party, campaign on behalf of Jack Straw and local community campaigners standing for election for Council. They do so because they recognise that Blackburn, and the Country, is better with Labour. All help is greatly appreciated- from leafletting, to canvassing, to helping out on election day. To join the campaign send us an email, and local party officers will be in touch.
